Go to the Units tab, find the unit you want to edit, and click on the wrench icon for Unit properties. Here you can change the unit name or icon. Please do not make any other changes as this could break the reporting sensors, notifications, or access rights.

This typically happens if the unit has lost cell service for a period of time. If the unit loses cellular data service, it will store all the data points until it regains network connectivity. The jumping around is simply the unit “catching up” and sending its data back to the MiFleet portal very quickly, causing the unit to move around much faster than usual.

Trip time is triggered by the ignition on and off events. It is calculated by the time the device powers on, to the time it powers off.

For the LMU3000 and 2600 series, fuel consumption is calculated by the ECU of the car.

Data can be gathered through plug and play ports, such as the J-BUS or OBDII ports, or through hardwired connections. The J1939 or J1708 Jbus connector can be used on buses, motorhomes, or other heavy duty equipment.

Go to the Units tab, find the unit you want to edit, and click on the wrench icon for Unit properties. Click on the Trip Detection tab, here you can change  trip detection settings.

If you received the device recently, the device may need to be connected and powered on for 30 minutes to receive signal. If it still doesn’t show up, make sure the unit has cellular service and is in range of GPS satellites (out in the open)
Make sure the Unique ID in Mifleet matches the ESN on the Calamp unit.
